COMIT
          SYSTEMS JOINS ARM
          TECHNOLOGY ACCESS PROGRAM

Santa Clara, California - February 19, 2002: Comit Systems, Inc., the
contract engineering company, announced tonight that it has joined ATAP,
the ARM technology access program. ARM [(LSE: ARM); (Nasdaq: ARMHY)],
is the industry's leading provider of 16/32-bit embedded RISC processor
solutions. The ATAP program provides a framework for selecting and enabling
competent design centers with the ARM® technology necessary for
system-on-chip (SoC) designs. ARM core-based SoC developers are able
to use ATAP Partner services to aid with some of the more complex tasks
associated with SoC design, 'bridging the gap' with any skill shortfall
          the developer may have.
        Speaking
at a reception on the occasion of Comit's 10th Anniversary, Chris Russo,
Networking Segment Sales Manager for ARM said, "Comit has specific
expertise in large SoC designs incorporating ARM processors. Comit is
active in the areas of wired and wireless networking, digital imaging,
storage area networks and handheld consumer applications. Comit's extensive
experience in designing chips, boards and embedded software uniquely
positions them to deliver complete system solutions. We are pleased
to welcome Comit into the ATAP program as an ARM Approved Design Center."
        "Comit
offers full-service, turnkey ASIC design services from specs to GDS-II
in geometries up to 0.13 micron, and has executed several ARM core-based
SoC designs. The ATAP Partnership allows Comit to augment its offering
to include ARM processor core hardening capability as well", said
Niladri Roy, Director of Strategic Marketing for Comit. "Access
to ARM PrimeCell® peripherals, coupled with Comit's proven methodologies
for SoC design and verification, will result in significantly faster
          design cycles for our customers."
        Comit
completed a SoC design incorporating the ARM940T processor core
for 2Wire, Inc. (www.2Wire.com), in the residential gateway space. "Comit
helped us with both the ASIC and the embedded verification software
for our home networking adapter SoC design," said Pat Romano, vice
president of engineering for 2Wire. "Comit's skills base in both
hardware and software made them a partner of choice for our complex
          SoC design."
